Hi! I would like to go to Korea as a transferer student or something like that when I’m a little older..But I was just wondering if I have to be able to speak Korean to go there for a transferer student? I don’t know why I’m asking this from you ’cause you propably don’t know the answer but I just thought to check if you do..:D I’m so jealous of you! I wish I could go to Korea so people would understand me and my obsession of K-pop..:p

    • Going to Korea is always an option, especially if your in University; I have many friends who went to Korea to study as part of their course but they were studying subjects that related to Korea for example Korean language or International relation which would allow them to. Another option for you could be an international exchange so you can spend the summer in Korea. If you want to plan way ahead then I recommend you check out some Korean universities and their websites to see what programs they might have for International students. The 3 most famous Universities are jointly known as S.K.Y cos they are prestigious (Seoul University, Korea University and Yonsei University), another famous one is Ewha womens university.
Depending on the subject and what you choose to do, you wont have to know Korean unless you are specifically studying Korean language.
Hope this info helped you- and good luck, Korea is an amazing country, I hope you get to visit or live there sometime!
